Welcome to Lee Burn Associates. My name is David Blackburn, founder of Lee Burn Associates and family man of 4 kids.
So, what in the world is “Lee Burn Associates.”
Well, I created this website to highlight my journey as a writer, communicator and blogger.
I created my first website in 1999 to promote my work place on the internet.
I have a math/science major and I found writing code for websites enjoyable so I began writing code as a hobby.
At first I just created websites for other organizations. However, in 2006 I created a website so that I could write articles that interested me in my field of work.
It was during this time that blogging became popular and more mainstream.
Over the years, I have created several blogs (mainly teaching blogs) to help people in my field of expertize. I am now recently retired and I now spend more time writing content for blogs.
Additional Background
I grew up in sunny Queensland Australia but I have worked in several states of Australia over the years.
I graduated from college in the early 90’s and took early retirement in 2024.
I have had the privilege of travelling to different countries but most memorable was my time in Uganda.
I led a team of five on a humanitarian trip to help an organization called “Just Care” founded by Rev. Peter Partington from England. This was a memorable and life-changing experience.
All of my children have been on several humanitarian trips in Asia, Europe, China and the pacific Islands.
